Each year Cricket Leinster run a special prize draw – Your Club/Your Province Grand Prize Raffle – as a means of supporting cricket clubs throughout Leinster. It is the ideal way to support Merrion, and also be in with a chance to win a big prize. All money spent on tickets for the raffle goes to the cricket club. Last year Merrion received nearly €2,000 from the raffle.
There are over €7500 in prizes. The main draw will take place at the next Cricket Leinster Awards Night at the end of the season, but there are also special draws from time to time. The next special draw takes place this weekend with a prize of a pair of return flight tickets anywhere on the Turkish Airlines network [worth €1,500] courtesy of Turkish Airlines and Cricket Ireland.
Money from the Prize Draw is added to the club’s Development Fund which is used to finance all capital works in the club.
