Welcome to
Merrion Cricket Club
The website provides visitors with all they need to know about the operations of the club today as well as background information about its origins and history. Members are able to check out fixtures, results, latest news and much more.
Merrion is located on Anglesea Road in the heart of Dublin and close to the RDS. It currently has six teams in Open Competitions / three in Womens Competitions run by Cricket Leinster. There is also social cricket for those interested. And if you just want to enjoy watching a game of cricket Merrion provides a pleasant atmosphere in nice surroundings. Anyone interested in joining the club should contact the club secretary at secretary@merrioncricketclub.ie.
The club provides cricket for boys and girls of all ages. There is an emphasis on coaching and youth development and the club runs cricket camps during the summers and at other times during the year. Contact ydo@merrioncricketclub.ie

Open Competitions for 2026
Clubhouse Facilities & Parking
MATCHDAY PARKING
It is possible to reserve a place on the tarmac and pay online for some events when Merrion is running a car park. Reservations must be made no later than midnight the night before the match or event.

Event Parking
Merrion is located close to the RDS and the business area of Ballsbridge. It is available for functions and social occasions and the club runs general car parks for matches and events at the RDS / Aviva. Online booking is available for some matches as outlined below.

BOOK DUBLIN HORSE SHOW PARKING
Anyone wishing to stay in Merrion over the week of the RDS Horseshow, or to park a truck, horse box or other vehicle on the ground, must book in advance and pay online.
