Merrion are drawn to play Donemana on the 18th May at Anglesea Road in Round 1 of the Irish Senior Cup. This will be the fifth time the two sides have met since the start of the century. In this period Merrion have come out on top on three of the four occasions, the last being the narrowest away win by a single run in 2018. Merrion have won the last three games between the two sides.

2011: Merrion beat Donemana in R2 at Anglesea Rd by 27 runs. Merrion made 271/8 thanks to a century by Ben Ackland.
2012: Merrion beat Donemana in The Holm by six wickets in SF, successfully chasing a score of 129 all out.
2018: Merrion came out on top by a single run in The Holm defending a total of 295/7.
