Cricket Leinster: Autumn General Meeting

The Autumn General Meeting for Cricket Leinster was held in Pembroke CC on Thursday [28th Nov]. This is one of two general meetings held each year and is mainly about the election of personnel for the various committees for the coming year. Of interest to Merrion is that John Heavey was re-elected to a second term as Chair of the CL Board. Eddie Lewis was elected chair of the Decision Appeals Board.

In all there are over 50 posts [including Directors] to be filled and 25 clubs are represented among the volunteers that were elected. The clubs who put most members forward are Clontarf, Pembroke and Adamstown. Twenty one clubs are not represented on any of the committees, including three clubs who have teams who will have teams in the Premier League next year.
