Merrion 1st XI begin their league campaign on Saturday with an away match against Malahide.
This is the 100th year since Merrion became a Senior Club in 1926 [one season was lost to the pandemic]. In 1993 the Senior League was divided into two sections with Merrion starting is Section B. In all Merrion played 10 seasons in Section B. Last year Merrion finished fifth in the league.
Merrion has won what is now called the Premier League seven times. Details of the successful league campaigns are set out below.
