In a departure from past practice this year the Senior Milestones are linked to the Integrated Senior averages i.e. the Leinster Senior Averages and the ISC. The milestones are based around the players who turned out for the 1st XI in 2026 less known retirements / absences. performances relate only to matches played for Merrion.
Hugh Kennedy: needs 11 wickets to reach 100
John Anderson: has already scored more club runs than any other Merrion player. He needs 418 runs for 12,000.
Tom Stanton: over 13 season Tom has played 196 senior club matches, just needs four more for 200. Last year he passed the 250 wicket threshold.
Sean Stanton: as captain in 2026 he only needs three more games to reach 100. He needs 72 runs to reach 1000.
Stephen Doheny: needs 604 runs to reach 3000 runs for Merrion.
Jamie Forbes: since joining the club in 2024, Jamie has played 28 times for Merrion 1st XI in Senior Matches. He needs 511 for 1000 runs
Swapnil Modgill: needs 581 runs to reach 3000 but only one more catch for 50.
Other players will have personal milestones for the season, but it is still too early in their Merrion careers to figure in the performance tables.
