The fixtures, all set centrally, have finally landed. The full details are available on the Cricket Leinster website for Open and Womens Competitions with the youth to follow early next week. Merrion has entered 5 Open Teams and 2 Womens Teams, as well as youth teams covering all the main age groups for boys and girls.
The basic format is T20 League/Cup with semi-finals and finals in mid September. Anglesea Road [we will not be using Bird Avenue this season] will host two T20 Open Competition games each weekend day. Womens and youth competitions will be held during the week. Each team should have six or seven matches plus, if they get through, a semi-final or final.
We will put up the fixtures on the Merrion site shortly.

it will be a strange and truncated season. No doubt from a cricketing point of view we will be faced with issues as the season progresses. It is a very uncertain world we are operating in. But the bottom line is that the full CL programme envisages 800 matches. That at least is to be welcomed.
