As part of a Sport Ireland fund to assist sports clubs in Ireland during the pandemic, Merrion is to receive a grant of €8,000. The administration of the scheme for cricket in Ireland was carried out by Cricket Ireland. Cricket was allocated €197,000. Cricket Leinster and Munster Cricket received just over €40,000 and just under €150,000 was distributed to a total 31 clubs [23 in Leinster]
