It is with great sadness we have to report the passing of Joan Soraghan. The Soraghan family lived for many years at 47 Anglesea Road and contributed greatly to the development of the club in its early years. Her brother Dermot remains a trustee of the club.
Joan herself played for many years in the club and was one of a small team that helped revive Womens Cricket in Merrion in the 1980s. In the photo Joan is on the right.
A funeral Service will take place today at 2.30 pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross D6W HY98 which may be viewed at https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/.
