Cricket Leinster have launched their highly successful club prize draw for the 2021 season.
The entire proceeds of the prize draw – Your Club/Your Province – go to the clubs. Last year Merrion received over €2500 from the sale of tickets to club members.
This year we are hoping to double that figure. The intention is to make it a major part of our fund raising efforts for the club’s “Improvement Works Fund’.
While the club finances remain constrained due to the pandemic, and there will be no RDS Horseshow again this year which is a major blow, there is still an ambitious capital works programme planned over the next three years. The priority areas for investment include the wicket in Bird Avenue, improved seating and outfield wickets for cubs / U9s and a new sight screen for Anglesea Road.
The best way to help with the capital improvements to the club is to buy tickets from Cricket Leinster.
