Event Parking

General Car Parking

Merrion will be open for car parking for rugby and soccer matches and for selected events at the RDS from September to April. The club may offer parking for matches and concerts during the summer but this depends of the availability of the ground which is heavily used for cricket.

When the car parks are open for general parking, you do not have to be a member to park at the ground. The club takes payment in cash or credit card.

General parking on the grass is always dependent on the condition of the ground and may have to be cancelled at short notice due to adverse weather.

Online Booking

There are a limited number of parking spaces available on the tarmac area that can be booked in advance. This can be done online and costs €15. Bookings must be made no later than close of business on the day before the match/event. Check below to see what matches/events we are taking bookings for.

When you have made your payment either print out a ticket or store it on your mobile phone. You will be asked to show your ticket on entrance to the ground.

Leaving your car over-night.

Those parking at the ground are asked not to leave their car overnight. Anyone that does so without authorisation please note, the car may be clamped or towed.

Subject to availability, it may be possible to leave a car overnight where there is an online booking. There is a premium of an extra €10 [to be paid on the day] for those leaving their car until the next morning where it can be picked up between 7.30 and 9.30. Please let the car park operators know that you intend to park overnight when you arrive at the club. In the cases of anyone leaving their car over night they do so at their own risk.

Facilities

The clubhouse will be open for those parking who need to use the facilities.
