A General Meeting of the Merrion Cricket Club was held on the 27th October, 2022 in the clubhouse at Anglesea Road. Thirty one members attended the meeting.
The Minutes of the last AGM and of the Special General Meeting [22nd September 2022] were approved.

There were no nominations for the positions of Vice Captains for the 1st XI [Open] and 1st XI [Women], the Match Secretary, the Membership Secretary, or the Chair and Selector for Women. The positions accordingly were not filled at the AGM and will now fall to be appointed by the Management Committee.
A Motion to Approve the 2021 Accounts of the Club was put to the meeting and approved.
The incoming president spoke to the meeting and said that his focus would be on communication with members, encouraging youth cricket and getting young people involved in the club and supporting the family and sporing values of the club. He reminded members that the President’s Annual Dinner is on the 11th November.
