During the off-season the Management Committee has been working on preparing a Strategy Statement for the development of the club over the next decade. The strategy is intended to provide coherence and structure to the plans for the improvement in the facilities at Anglesea Road, the enhancement of services to members and, of course, to the overall playing strength of the club.
Focus Groups met during the winter and thanks to the members for their ideas and suggestions. We have tried to reflect the input in the final document.
The Strategy is now available for any member to read. It should be stressed that it is only the starting point and indeed may need to be updated from time to time if circumstances change. The next step will be to prepare more detailed plans for the next three years across the different areas of the club’s activities and to put in place structures for monitoring and reporting on the targets set.
